Book Covers & Professional Edit
- Book covers, box series images need to have a professional look to them, as if they were book shelf quality
- Your book must have been edited professionally, free of spelling and grammar mistakes. You will be asked to verify this via the online form once you submit your work.
- All images will need to be on a png or jpeg format with a resolution no more than 150 DPI. We will re-size images if needed.
- Author book logos & series banners are allowed and will be placed were visually presentable if the space is available.
- All Book theme backgrounds will be considered and will be respectively enhanced and laid out according to the editors discretion.
- At the editors discretion they may request the master source files on any creative work to make changes to fit the visual aesthetics of the page display.

- Featured images will need be conceptual and relevant to your article. We suggest using a stock house. You will need to have the correct type of licensing for the photo you use.
- All Book theme backgrounds will be considered and will be respectively enhanced and laid out according to the editors discretion.

These guidelines are put in place to protect the integrity and professionalism of this E-magazine. Our audience is not just the Indie Author but also the reader and book industry in general. Other book platforms and e-magazines may not have quality review guidelines on there content or have a design standard that’s high, but here at Indie Woods we value the Indie Author that truly invest in there work, as well as any specialists, thought leader, individual or company that works in the book industry. All submissions will be carefully reviewed. If your submission is not approved you will receive a email as to why it was not and our professional recommendation if you do decide to re submit again.
